Finite Element Analysis Introduction

Finite Element Analysis Introduction The following four series of articles in a newsletter of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). It serves as an introduction to the recent analysis discipline known as the finite element method. The author is an engineering and consulting with the analysis of finite element. Finite Element Analysis: Introduction by Steve Roensch, President, & Associates Roensch first in a series of four finite element analysis (FEA) is a relatively new discipline, the boundaries of mathematics, physics, engineering and computer science. The method has wide application and provides extensive use of structural, thermal and fluid analysis areas. The finite element method consists of three phases: (1) pre-treatment, in which the analyst develops a finite element mesh for geometry into subdomains for mathematical analysis and apply the material properties and boundary conditions, ( 2)-solution in which the program will be the matrix equations and solve the model for the principal amount, and (3) post-treatment, in which the analyst checks the validity of the solution, the values of primary quantities (such as travel and solicitations), and monitors and examines additional quantities (eg, specialized stresses and indicators of error). The advantages of FEA are numerous and important. A new design concept can be modeled for the real world behavior under load of different environments, and can therefore be refined first for the preparation of drawings, even if only a couple of dollars and the changes are not expensive. After a detailed CAD model has been developed, FEA can analyze in detail the project, which saves time and money by reducing the number of prototypes needed. An existing product, with a field problem, or is simply to be improved, can be analyzed at an engineering change and reduce costs. In addition, FEA can always affordable computer workstations and PCs, professional help is available. It 'also important to recognize the limitations of the FEA. Packages of commercial software and hardware, which recorded a significant fall in prices, still a major investment. The method can test the product, but not replace it. Probably more important, an inexperienced user may be a wrong answer on which decisions have to be expensive. FEA is a demanding tool, in which the analyst must not only Proficient in elasticity or fluids, but also in mathematics, science, and in particular the finite element method itself. The FEA package to use is an issue that is not possible in this brief discussion, and the choice of personal preference, and the functionality of packages. If the package depends on the type of analysis will be performed. A typical finite element solution requires a fast, mode disk subsystem for acceptable performance. Memory is of course dependent on the code, but the interest of performance, the more the better, with 512 MB to 8 GB per user a representative selection. Performance is the last link in the chain of power, with the clock frequency, cache, pipeline and multi-processing all on the bottom line. This analysis can spend hours on the fastest systems, so that the computing power is crucial. An often overlooked aspect of the date of entry into the finite element area is education. Without adequate training on the method of finite elements and the specific package, a new user will not be productive in a reasonable time, and can not, in fact, is pathetic. Expect to spend one or two weeks before, and another two weeks during the early years, either teaching or self-education. It 'also important that the user has a basic knowledge of the computer's operating system. Next month, the articles go into detail about the pre-processing of finite element method. Exceptional Titanium Watches

Exceptional Titanium Watches Watches are a classic. Are timeless. In a world where time seems to fly, with a reliable watch is an accessory for any wardrobe. If you buy for yourself or as a gift for someone special, a watch is the perfect choice. With so many manufacturers and use of metals, is surely something for everyone. If the resistance and longevity is what you are looking for might be time to consider titanium watches. These watches were designed by using one of the materials available to watch producers. Titanium watches feature some of the lowest weight are the forces of any metal. In summary, this is reduced to the fact that titanium watches are cases that are both lightweight and strong, while maintaining an exceptional resistance to extreme temperatures. To give you an idea, titanium weighs less than half the weight is steel, but is a mere 60% heavier than aluminum. However, it is certainly much stronger. Some people have allergies to metal, which means that you can not use certain pieces of jewelry, without some kind of reaction. Discoloration of the skin is most common, but the reactions vary depending on the person? s resistance to metals and metal? s content. Thanks to the properties of titanium, this metal clocks are set to cause fewer allergic reactions or even gold silver. In addition, titanium watches are resistant to corrosion from salt water, which is invaluable for divers, swimmers and surfers. Many of these clocks are designed to withstand virtually any environment, providing a good investment. Titanium was discovered 300 years ago, but was not used in the manufacture of clocks until 1900. A process of cost-benefits for working with titanium was founded in 1940 and so began the era of a new style of watches. This new method provides users with a wide range of colors, including a quirky classic. Many of the world? S top watch manufacturers offer titanium watches, including citizens, Seiko and others. Perhaps the most extensive selection of watches can be found online, but see the retailers may also carry a good selection of products. Depending on your geographic location, may be a good choice available in each coer. For those who do not have a big house near the retail, specialty catalog and Inteet shopping can be a good option. Prices range from several hundred to several thousand, depending on the style and features you choose. When you buy any watch, information on warranty and guarantees. If your clock has a warranty card or information, follow the manufacturer's instructions to ensure that security is properly enabled. If you need to retu a warranty card, do so as soon as possible. If security is only information hidden inside the box, make sure to keep in a safe place. It's a good idea to keep all warranty information, along with your original receipt of purchase. This helps in proper management of security for the future, as the repair or replacement, if in the future.

High temperature control systems

High temperature control systems A recording of high-temperature data can be used to monitor temperatures as high as 2500? D. You are with a thermocouple probes to monitor and record the temperature of ovens, fuaces, ceramic or other processes. The data recorder at high temperature, in some cases, replaced the recorder, traditionally for such applications. Chart recorders have the advantage with an outline, so that an employee who is control of heating can see what the temperature, while he was the operation of the heater. The high temperature data logger has an advantage that is not the cards, pens, or maintenance, but if a company tries to control the conditions in real time, is out of luck, because there is no way to lower the temperature history, until it is on a computer. However, there is a better way to document and monitor the temperature now. Industries which traditionally has a high temperautre data logger or chart recorder is able to benefit from the ThermaViewer. The ThermaViewer does exactly the same as the data logger and high temperature recorder, but with additional benefits. The ThermaViewer, as well as collecting measurements high in a given period immediately shows the results obtained during the time-temperature chart on its large LCD screen. E 'as a sort of combination of digital data logger and recorder. ThermaViewer is the high temperature data logger: The ThermaViewer samples and stores it in RAM with a thermocouple temperature as high as 2500? D. You can have more than 44,000 measurements for each of the two thermocouple probes. The ThermaViewer is a chart recorder: The ThermaViewer draws a diagram of the sample data on its large LCD display. The big difference between the mechanical and ThermaViewer recorder chart is that the ThermaViewer their electronic chart, while a mechanical chart recorder records your paper with a pen on a sheet of graph paper. This means that you never have to replace the ink pen that has a blank or change the table at the end of the day, week or month. The ThermaViewer is easier to read: ThermaViewer table is a line graph rather than a circular line on a piece of paper round, as the recorder chart created. This means that all employees, is for half the school can say what the chart, it says. This is a huge advantage in a non-technical, or blue-collar jobs.

How to gain control of your life

How to gain control of your life ? The last part of a wise man to life? Jonathan Swift said? reflected in the cure of madness, prejudices and false opinions that had at first. The awareness to see their own follies, prejudices and false opinions, in reality, it is essential to overcome psychocultural programming. But before we examine our conscience, we must see how we were able to assimilate the programs that do not benefit our evolution. In addition to what has been said about the nature of reality, even actively programmed us what it means. Unfortunately, most of our programming was done when we were children. At that time, did not have sufficient knowledge or expertise to sift through the nonsense to find the depth. While many of the systems of beliefs that we have adopted, like children are supposed to help us survive, which may have had a negative effect on us as adults. As these programs for the most part derive from the unconscious, it is possible that there are often children respond to challenging events rather than call our power to move adults through the problem. As a child, for example, has the conviction that if something did not work for me, my best choice was to switch to something else. This program was created in failure and frustration of my adult life. As an adult, I realized that this program to deny the efforts made my life very difficult. But doing enough knowledge for the model of call and the decision to lea to persist in all efforts, I have noticed a change in my life experience. What I realized is that when I applied my new decision to persist when things were not going my way that even seemingly impossible things become my favor. A program, then, is a model from a previous decision. Usually it's in early childhood. This is a quick and immature decision that creates disharmony and dysfunction in mode life. Increasing awareness breaks the cycle of life with the decisions taken during childhood. Awareness is noticed a recurring situation that disturbs happiness and success. This is put into question the original decision that set in motion to deny the life of the model. Once a person sees the program that has been silently and almost invisibly running their life, how can you live your life redecide and organize their experiences in a more meaningful way. ERP and CAD Integration in Engineer to Order Environment

ERP and CAD Integration in Engineer to Order Environment The current issue of Automation.com includes an article by the editor, Thomas R. Cutler about ERP and CAD Integration in the ETO (Engineer-to-Order) environment. Second function Cutler, ERP systems were developed for repetitive, to the producer, where there is a clear demarcation between design and production. In this environment the engineer designs the product in a CAD application. After testing and prototyping, the product was released for production, which is managed by the ERP system. The engineer has little or no interaction with the ERP system and works quite well in a CAD environment. Following the work of the designer, a production engineer then creates a list of materials (BOM), based on how they are made, not on how the product was designed. In Engineer to Order (ETO) world the role of engineering design is very different. By its nature an ETO company builds a unique product designed to meet the specifications of each customer. The two worlds of design and production are closely linked. In many cases, the design of the product continues through the product process (design process), which includes a multitude of engineering changes. These changes may be driven by the customer or the manufacturer. In this environment a seamless flow of data between engineering and production is of paramount importance. An ETO company must integrate CAD and ERP. Automation.com is for manufacturers and suppliers in the industry, and industrial automation, motion control, machine control, process control and instrumentation products and services. Automation.com attracts engineers, programmers, designers, technicians and other professionals who specify, purchase and use of control systems, software, robotics, sensors and other products for the automation of machinery, equipment and factories for the production of continuous and discrete processes. iPod Domination

iPod Domination   iPod dominates the market, and there is more to come iPod contributes 12-14% of total company revenue, a number of industry experts who can continue to grow. With this increasing pressure on gross margins, the iPod as a mixture gross margin of 20% compared unfavorably with Apple corporate average of 27-28%. Apple iPod complement growth helped to broaden the addressable market of the core computer market, which continues to grow, but slower rates. To increase the penetration of MP3 player in the rapidly growing market, the launch of Apple iPod Mini inteationally in July 2004 and HP iPod will be introduced later in the summer. Apple entering the market for digital music player (MP3) market with the popular iPod, the company has broadened the addressable market and signaled a sea change in Apple strategy. The iPod is a cultural phenomenon, the capital of digital convergence consumer electronics and computers, Apple and its position as a first move to the number one position in the market. iPod continues to accelerate the adoption, with no signs of slowing down. It took about 18 months for Apple to its first million iPods, but its second million came in six months and the third of four million of them came. In fact, it seems that only its suppliers can slow down, particularly in the hard drive manufacturer, which is a difficult time with the application. Industry experts believe that the iPod will remain strong growth in the near future and do not expect significant customer fallout from Apple in a position to meet demand. The analysis of the introduction of the Sony Walkman in 1979 indicates the market opportunity for a revolutionary portable music player will remain strong for many years to come, and Apple expects that a strong action for the next few years (unlike Sony l 'experience with the Walkman). While the iPod and iTunes significant awareness of the Apple product, which has little to grow Apple Mac core business. Experts attribute this mainly to Apple's price of the above, together with the continued ignorance of consumers regarding the compatibility between Windows and Mac in terms of prices, the average desktop PC sold for $ 1019, the $ 280 on Apple of the low price on Apple now, stopped flat-panel iMac. In addition, the ASP industry is declining, as most growth is in the market sub-$ 1000 market. As regards the compatibility of Windows and Mac OS X, Apple, although a concerted effort to educate consumers about the ease with which these two products work together, has fallen on deaf ears for the most part. Apple has made some progress through the shops, where an estimated half of Mac purchases are first-time buyers, but also for Apple's share of work in the long term, society needs the parties in respect of Windows, such a least. Understandably, Apple wants to avoid selling PCs at a loss, but unfortunately the growth prospects for the $ 1000-PC is more limited. This poses a puzzle for Apple longer term, but is now on his current strategy. Incidentally, Apple's share of sales is much better, and if this is not a topic often discussed, revenue shares is probably more important than unity of action.

Introducing Your Family to Solar Energy

Introducing Your Family to Solar Energy One of the difficulties that solar and renewable energy have in the past is that people know more about them. People are employed, and are also resistant to change and lea. It 'much easier to get energy from traditional sources, it seems? magic? Transmission of electricity at home and with the wires of the electricity grid. However, there are always more problems with this frozen posture. We seem to hear almost every day on electricity and Brownout, with waings about declining energy supplies. One way to lea how you and your children and to buy electricity is one of several types of small solar panels. From solar toys solar lighting and portable solar panels, small solar systems make it easy to lea some of the basics of energy. You can lea more about the production of energy and get an idea of how it is caused by several factors. Your children can use a small solar energy - solar toys or kits to see directly the relationship between energy production and availability. From your sunlight, you know that a sunny day, the light on this very evening. Instead, you will notice a relationship between dark and cloudy days, or the lack of light from sunlight. While a small portable solar panel provides energy for your boat or camper, which can also teach the need for energy storage (battery) and conservation. Even a solar light provides a micro-version of all systems of power: the panel generates energy, the transfer of wires, a battery and leave the bulb used. One of the effects of sin the convenience of the energy grid is that people are still largely unknown aspects of energy policy and the need for proper management. If you plug in a wall and gain energy, it is easy to forget that energy is limited and constrained by circumstances. The impact of a small solar electric system in your hands takes some of the secrets of energy and strength. The energy is no longer something? from? on a generating plant at a distance or electricity. The effect is also empowering. E 'such as personal fitness and certain types of alteative health give you a degree of control over their own health. Based on the knowledge expected of a small solar electric system, generating its own power to know, and have authority in your household electricity, a key area of life. The purchase of a small solar electric system, as in toys or other solar devices can be a simple and efficient way to introduce you and your family in solar energy. This knowledge can only be practical in the next few years, solar energy - energy and other renewable energies for a greater portion of network generation and beyond public ownership? Power plants.

How to manage your emotions, feelings

How to manage your emotions, feelings Intense emotions can be overwhelming for all of us. And if you're just opening an emotion that can be very raw. No matter how you lived with your emotions, we all sometimes need help on how to deal with them. Leaing to recognize and be with our feelings is a valuable experience. We can lea that, because we believe something, we do not have to act. Or that you can be angry and to choose how to respond, rather than letting the anger against us. The more you know how, and how we feel to feel, to publish, to be, or to let our feelings, we feel better about ourselves. But how do I know what I feel? If you do not know how you feel or how to get in touch with your feelings: 1. Determine how you feel: Sit quietly for a while 'time, you may want to close my eyes and wait to see what you notice how inside.Notice different areas of your body feels. Focus on areas of tension, respiration, and see if something happens to your consciousness. Not? T have to think. Notice if the thoughts, images, feelings, memories, sounds are yours. You can come, right? S well. May you always want continue.Ask how you feel, and be aware of what is presented. Not? T in figure anything, just aware. If be anything for you, this is normal. Sometimes that happens. May you want groped again, another time.2. Acknowledge your feelings: if you know how you feel, let you know that is how you feel now, and that? Okay. You donation? T must know where it came from. You n? Did not even know what the name, you can just know that you have a lot of pain in your own chest.Breathe your feelings it.Let there. You n? have nothing to do with them, just accept the fact that this is the way you do not come from feel. But these feelings? I seem to blue.If want to understand why you feel a certain way: 1. Identify the source of your feelings: Remember you are not "stupid" or "crazy" to hear how you feel, we are your feelings for a good reason.Tu inside and ask yourself that these feelings are linked to.Wait and see what we see. You can find out. You may remember something, see a photo, hear a sound, a tension in a particular area of your body.Try not to analyze, interpret and evaluate what comes to you. Be open to what you notice.Go deeper. May we think we know why we feel a certain way, but sometimes that is what we think. Be patient and open, they help us to go further. If not you, right? All right, too. It helps to just feel. What you have to do with these feelings? 2nd Express your feelings or release. Even if you do not know why you feel this way, you can always say in the privacy of your home. Focus on how you feel. Open your mouth and let a sound come from feeling.Move with the feeling. You Can Dance, stomp around, kicked, struck something.Scream. If you are conceed about the sound, you can scream in a pillow.Cry. If you want to cry, you give permission to this.Write or draw this feeling up. Don t censor yourself, the way I write out loud or drawing.Say you need to tell someone how to support someone.Tell feeling. It is too good for me. I can no longer hold. What should I do? 1. Comfort and reassure you: You speak as if he were a friend. Be gentle with kind.Reassure and you need to hear, for example, "I agree, I am sure." Curl into a comfortable sofa / bed with a blanket, a hot drink, a good book or watch a show on TVDo something good for you. Treat yourself to something special, take a bubble bath, go to a spa, a massage.Talk favor to a friend. Do what you need.2. Take a break from your feelings: Sometimes, the feelings become overwhelming and you need a break from them. This does not deny that there are, only that you need a break and come back later when you are rested. After a pause, it is important to retu your feelings. May have changed, and this is good. Create a place of safety. Let your imagination create an image of something (s), which represents how you feel now. It may be concrete or abstract. Take your time, your imagination flourish. So, imagine a protective bubble around the image, is separated from him. Look at the picture. Note that it is still there, but separated from you. Your feelings are still there, but you are now. You have the choice, you should not be your feelings at this time. Let take the break you need. Given this failure means that you will be better able to deal with them later. May you want to imagine yourself in a safe place - the picture you choose.Remember times when you felt good. Let yourself relax and lea. Breathe slowly. Remember when you feel good, loved and peaceful. It could be something that really happened, or you create something, like being near a waterfall. Imagine being in this situation or that person, and feel the pleasant sensation. Feel your body move, what you hear, the feelings of letting go. Let yourself feel more relaxed, comfort or peace. Stay with the memory or the image until you feel really strongly connected to it.Exercise. This can help you relax, feel energized, and feel generally better.Do something that relaxes you.Do something that completely absorbs the attention. This can help to move the way you feeling.Get a change of scenery. If you were at home or in the same room a lot, you may need to leave, even if only for a walk around the block. Change your habits. If you always go home after work to feel trapped in your feelings, maybe you need to do something else - go see a concert, a movie or dinner, something that makes you feel good. Doing things to take care of themselves may be better to go home alone. It is not always easy to stay with your feelings, but can be rewarding if you do this. Kali Munro, 2000. There is something about me

There is something about me F F C. .. PO Box 1586 ... Broken Arrow, OK 74013? T.L. Dashner? There is something for me? Have you ever heard the term? Post-modeism? Do you agree with him? Postmodeism is the philosophy of enlightened intellectual and the viewfinder. In fact, to me, seems to be a repackaging of the former philosophy, existentialism. Remember? Existentialism was the rage of 1960, especially in schools, universities and the Vietnam War protests. We were told that we exist and then we found our essence. That? S some serious stuff.Yes that? Law. The leaed and well educated, young people wanted to impress the students of America for the things of God and of his own destiny. Is not it time? T intelligent person, to see the dangers in the context of a? My God The one true God is not man, but far above the people. Remember the Beatles? Rubber Soul album released in December 1965? It 'was a song title? Nowhere Man? Listen to some of the lyrics? He? Sa real Nowhere Man / Sitting in his country make all his plans are not / None / doesn? T is a V / I do not know where? S / No? t has a little 'like you and me? This guy is really lost.John Lennon may be an existentialist, making fun of us, us, our fate from God, but I? M is not. Then again, Lennon philosophy on life doesn? T surprises me. Why? Since many of his songs are in a state of drugs. He had his information from all kinds of gods. John Lennon was a man of talent, but it was far from being a good spokesman for the little people. In fact, it was not? T admits that he once said that the Beatles were more popular than Jesus Christ? I think it was. And it is at the moment? Nowhere Man? played over AM radio. It was not? T? The Bible says clearly that God is over all things. And everywhere, his all-powerful laws. For example, the Ten Commandments of God? The highest moral law of the world. E 'equally wrong murder neighbors in Asia as in America, in Israel or in any other nation on the planet earth. The postmodeists, and others? IST? Say that man is the law (if they do, it feels good) and is responsible for making sure that no one? s moral law, but his own. That? S dangerous. A man like existentialist might say that he not be? T believe? S wrong to exploit another man? S property. But what happens when the post-mode human being has his most precious possession of stolen property? He immediately yells,? I? I evil? Then asks the justice? Universal justice, theft punished. See, my friend, sounds like God? S universal conviction for theft. And it is. God is the supreme law of the universe, or if I like. If you disagree with me, so before you go? Break God? Law. Try to see if there are any adverse effects associated with sexually active, or more parties to live with unforgiveness, store up to hate, until you begin to premeditated murder or any other moral code broken at whim. But for me, I think? Ll just obey God and His commandments. As I already said that things spiritual gives me a headache. I thank God that I have enough wisdom to folly of the cross of Jesus Christ. eProcurement and Translation

eProcurement and Translation eProcurement and Translation Gavin Wheeldon of Applied Language Solutions eProcurement background from the world of shopping has changed significantly with the introduction of e-procurement systems. Incredible ROI was promised, and the whole world was about to revolutionize the purchase, all for a few million of investment. This would be a rationalization of suppliers to an absolute minimum and therefore the warranty is not from the purchase contract was approved by the execution of purchases on the system. There were further savings for the reduction of administrative orders for small problemThen bill payment.A came the most significant problem is the supplier of acceptance of these systems. Without a critical mass of expenditure would not be real ROI. The problem is that in so many different proprietary systems such as Oracle? S iProcurement, Ariba, Commerce One, SAP and many others, that the cost of different formats Catalog was prohibitive for suppliers. Worse yet, the services or products were trying to configure catalogued.Punch Then Punch Out or retu, whichever you prefer (This article is Punch-Out), but the principle is the same. This allows users to select a supplier? Website and bring it back into the system data acquisition, so you can all the same rules and procedures. Solve these problems for configurable products, prices volatile, and some other important supply chain issues.Translation The amount of translation into one of the companies is often underestimated and, in most large organizations is in many millions of people. It is estimated that by the proper use of technology and the consolidation of these savings to 60% can be achieved. Therefore, the benefits of eProcurement can spend this much higher than those for large groups. However, it is still a problem when you try to make your translation provider of eProcurement systems. This is due to two reasons:? Translation purchases through a phase of the race, in most cases. This is because there are so many variables, the price may even things such as graphic files. Most agencies are instruments of translation memory, which means that the same document can be different prices depending on when the summons. This works to be translated into a database, and if this unit is the cost lower. These back problems make it almost impossible to acquire the translation in a single stroke from session. How a eProcure Translations can be purchased through the system with a slight adjustment of the normal the Punch-Out. This is done through a normal link to the agencies a secure server, in which the offer may be required and the documentation submitted. The summons will be sent to requisitions with a link to the secure website via the e-procurement. This will then start a session of Punch-Out and the offer may be in a basket in the usual way. Equipment for the amateur astronomer Part 1

Equipment for the amateur astronomer Part 1 Binoculars and telescopes and other equipment and accessories for astronomy are meat and potatoes of amateur astronomy. A good pair of binoculars is what introduced me to the delights of stars many moons ago and only after a couple of years has been scanning the heavens move to a telescope. This was one of the 60 mm department store telescopes we all felt, but my parents do not know better, and 12 years, opened the universe.Telescopes While low-cost (in every sense of the word) telescopes have not yet been found in recent years have seen the introduction of small telescopes, but much cheaper for manufacturers such as Meade and Celestron, and despite its small size, these have excellent optical telescopes that far exceed the goal for my old cheap 60 mm long reach these small telescopes ago. Many GOTO hours with features that let you select an object to display an attachment portable telescope automatically killed feature in the sky. What the ads tend not to mention is that using this service, the telescope should be properly configured and set out above. Many areas, unfortunately, are gathering dust in coers and closets, because their owners could not understand how to use it. It is not your fault - better and easier, the instructions must be provided with telescopes. But for those who can work with such an instrument, a large number of objects are available to see which would be very difficult to find otherwise. Some hands on ancient astronomy societies have welcomed the new technology openly, others have reported introduction, such as newcomers will stop to lea their way around the sky using a technique called star hopping. Somehow, they see that there must be some pain in the pursuit of an object before it can have the pleasure of viewing. I imagine that a little 'as the difference between being a bus to Machu Pichu in the course of five hours or walk up the mountain to see. To choose? If the travel is your cup of tea, and then go to you.Personally star is, I believe that the introduction of media GOTO was a very positive development and has made the hidden beauty of the night sky more accessible to many people. If you purchased a small telescope with a GOTO mount yourself, but are unsure of how best to use or to display the objects, according to the local astronomy club or society and ask for your help. It will be very willing to give a hand.On other hand, if you want to develop knowledge of the night sky, then a simple Dobsonian telescope is a good starting point. These 6-inch and larger telescopes are reflected in simple settings that allow you to rotate the telescope to the left and right and up and down so you can easily at any point by point the choice of a telescope sky. The article by Kevin Berwick fellow astronomer discusses the different types of telescopes that are available and provides advice on salvia that best suits your needs.Eyepieces You must have an eye for selection for use with the telescope to allow close views or views of a large field. Planets require small diameter of the eyes to see the details of the surface, while larger issues, such as the Pleiades and other large clusters require wide field of view. Almost every eye can be used to get a good view of the Moon or near points of view it.Eyepieces range of about 3 mm to 40 mm (ie, the glass in them, not the diameter of the eye) and are available three accessories: 0.965 "1.25" and 2 "(high-end telescopes). The 0, 965 "installation is rarely used these days, but the largest telescopes used eyes of this size. There are different types of eyes: Plossl, Erfle, Kellner, Orthoscopic, wide angle, etc. The expansion offers an eye depends on the focal length of your telescope - divide the telescope focal length by eye for size enlargement. A typical refractor (uses lenses rather than a mirror) has a focal length of about 900 millimeters. A 26 mm eyepiece would be a 34x increase in this area. Used a telescope with a focal length of 2000 mm, the increase is 77x.There 's another feature of the eye called the field of vision. Basically, this is like a huge area of sky seen through the eyepiece. The largest field of view, the more it shows. As part of the sky depends on the eyepiece diameter and the focal length of the telescope. Eye wide angle (82 degrees field of vision, for example) tend to be expensive. Average eye, as Plossls, about 50 degrees field of view. Wide eyes can almost feel? Being out there?. Binoculars While the debate focused on telescopes, binoculars have a role in astronomy. A pair of quality binoculars, a telescope is cheaper and is a good starting point for those unfamiliar with the sky. They do not offer as a telescope extensions (but not all), but show a wide field of vision, making it easier to navigate through the sky. Thanks to this wide field of view, you can also see the "big picture. And because you're using both eyes, eyes not. You can get binoculars and telescopes for viewers who use them (despite the coast a few hundred dollars and you need two of each eye) swear by them (instead of them!). A typical set of binoculars are 10x50s (compared to 50 mm lens with a 10x increase). More powerful models are available - 20x60s are available starting at $ 150 upwards and you can get 20x80s for only $ 215. These binoculars are very heavy and can easily tire of them pointing to the sky for any period of time. Moreover, thanks to its high magnification, any movement in his hands, and also enlarge the stars in the eyes dart around. To see the long term, that you should get a tripod and a binocular tripod adapter that allows you to mount the security it.Binoculars binoculars are excellent for watching on a large scale celestial objects such as comets. As for the Moon through 20x binoculars brings close enough to see the topography, but you will see in three dimensions, something lacking when looking through the eyepiece of a telescope. You can whip a pair of binoculars with a lot quicker than building a telescope so if you have the highly variable climate in which we live, it might be a better option to see the sky. Of course, you can run a pair of binoculars in your luggage with ease and see the sky of your holiday destination ease.Gary Nugent has spent more years that she cares to remember pursue astronomy as a hobby, is running astronomy clubs pubishing astronomy magazines or writing software. He runs the night sky Observer Astronomy website [for more than eight years.

HAWAII PHOTOGRAPHERS DISSCUSS pro and cons of the first part DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY

HAWAII PHOTOGRAPHERS DISSCUSS pro and cons of the first part DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY As a professional photographer for the last 31 years, I am very aware of the magnitude of the effect that the digital revolution has had on my career. The vast majority of professional photographers who have kept the technology that will agree "digital" is fantastic. Of course, there are many professionals, but I agree that digital is great, I regret that "digital has caused the loss of most businesses! "We will retu in the second half, but first let me say that the birth and development of computers and programs like Photoshop, in my humble opinion, is cause enough for celebration! You must admit that probably are in no way a computer "Geek", which for me is the magic of Photoshop! This amazes me every time you use. I can not commend the producers of Photoshop enough. But I digress ... I used my film business for a long period of time. The medium format film has given me beautiful, sharp images can be extended to 30x40 very well. I did not rush to "go digital" until I saw with my own eyes, and my digital images could produce the same quality as those used for. I had never seen a digital print that could mislead to think that I was filmed. That day came in 2002. I saw what was done with 6 mega - pixel capture and printer Epson Stylus Pro, and has become a "believer". ADVANTAGES OF DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY The obvious benefits, most people know: the film cost, processing costs and without proof is not printed do not want, to see immediately. Well, the instant gratification and save money. What not to love? For a professional, the savings in film, processing and testing is important. Even as a professional, instant-view has a capacity for positive influence on sales. Deeper advantages include complete control over your images with the image of the software. (E 'a fact that you need to have a good team and good imaging software ..) With these tools you can correct color, add special effects, touch, cultivation, buing and Dodge, sandwiches images, all kind of thing! E 'as well or better to have a chemical darkroom. Let's take a look at the disadvantages in the second part, and review the "loss of business" issue. About the author: Stan P. KELTIC Shipping

KELTIC Shipping   Many scientists are not able, with the possibility of ships that traveled the oceans, as in Franchithi dig caves, which have shown, 13,000 BC community fishing fleets. He himself is for the most part, for the Celts during the time of Caesar had this technology at this time, despite the words of Caesar. Some people think, once acquired knowledge is not lost, but this is not much the case. Barry Fell was a Harvard Professor of Oceanography before the error to the truth. Some (as in archeology magazine Wiseman? Camelot in Kentucky? Article from 2001) ridicule Fell as "self" in the field such as Ogham. The truth is that the hair is a little over time courses of the 'University of Edinburgh. Who is really the truth of scientists that? His name was dirt by academics but his legacy America BC and Bronze Age America was sweet justification. Here is some 'history of his problems, to one more reason not only the obvious need to determine the existence and loss of KELTIC seacraft technology. The rise and fall of Celtic sea power has been strangely neglected (although the film 'Spartacus' shows Kirk Douglas mediazione passage from Italy Kelts [Silesians and Galatians are Kelts back to the days of Punt], the sea.) From The Most historians and archaeologists to prompt much skepticism when first I began to report Celtic inscription in America. "I can not say I ever heard that the Celts were seafarers, 'was a typical comment. Those who recall that Julius Caesar described the British as the most naked savages, will help couples only iron on their neck, (A torquetum or tanawa is an ancient sextant known that in this period as Maui navigated for a well-known greek and may calculate the length.) sometimes the skin of a beast cast on his shoulders, thinking the British, who could be better than a man coracles for passage of water. Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, most of Book III of Caesar's De Bello Gallico 'is the biggest naval battle ever asked to assemble. And his opponent? None other than the Celts in Brittany, whose fleet has grown the arrival of a fleet of goods have their allies in Britain! The combined Gallic and British naval armament is an immensely powerful force, numbering, so Caesar tells us, not less than 220 ships, all larger than and superior in opposition to the construction of the Roman fleet under Admiral Brutus. These Celtic ships, Caesar says, solidly built so that they tread against the wind or stormy sea without lasting injury ( 'De Bello Gallico', books III, XIII, I). It 'clear that these fine vessels, which towers in the Roman galleys, had the ability to cross the Atlantic "Vasto atque open sea'," the vast open sea, "as Caesar there. "(2) The cross is your mind that these ships were, in fact, in recent trips to North and South America? Because Caesar had never seen her before? The wind fell, and the Roman galleys threw hooks in comparison Celtic rigging and sails on board. Cesare an agreement (as was his habit) with the cousins of his ancestors who are not in control of all. He gave them full citizenship of Rome, which was in reality Tarquini after defeating the King of Etruria. The nature of Catholicism and the Anglican Church has a long and sordid past association, because they are illegal, druids and a pardon for his head. Can you see why we think the Toltecs or others in America might druid roots? There is no further mention of British or Gaulish naval vessels in Caesar's Commentaries, or Tacitus in the century that followed give any space or consideration to native naval might. It seems that the battle against the Veneti was the end of Celtic sea power in classical times. Except for the periodic truculence as leader of the British Queen Boadicaea. Totten NORMAN: -? Both have been in numerous varieties, visually and phonetically. (6) This is important for the understanding of cultures around the world and the elite corporate traders. The circle with a dot is the mark of Cain or Qayin (Gardner's Genesis of the Grail Kings and other sources) and as such is the deft chip or cartridge, which indicates the family of Jesus and the? Because we can genetically and forensically trace and track these people to marry and are dateable artifacts we have a credible history exempt from royal or priestly mongers.Another ESOP excerpt from the work of Totten deals with Moroccan monks in exile in America in 5th Century AD. In Figuig monks were solitary (monachos), but also in community life (Koinos Bios) of brothers (Fratres), a monastery. The form of the certificate (martyrdom), under the persecution was not death in a scene for the pleasure of the spectators, but pay-in-exile, exile in the wildeess of America. (7) TERRACOTTA HEAD OF A ROMAN in Mexico: - "This year, Scandinavians celebrate the year 1000 by Leif Ericsson sailed to the New World from Greenland. Bjai Herjolfsson would have been the first step to land on the New World. Historians have long believed that Ericsson, the colony at L'Anse aux Meadows on the northe tip of Newfoundland, represented the first evidence of Europeans on the continent (When Farley Mowat wrote in "Weste Viking" he is was ridiculous.). However, a number of archaeological evidence points to the previous contract. A black terracotta head of a bearded man, about 2 in (5 cm) in height, in the Toluca Valley about 40 miles (64 km) west of Mexico City in 1933 and dated by thermoluminescence to about 200 AD, could be the first evidence that reliable Roman sailors reached America. It differs in style from any other known pre-Columbian art and has established itself as a novel of art experts. Although much has been over the head since its discovery, the place where they were unknown until 1994, when she was found locked away in a museum in Mexico City, an American anthropologist, in the name of Dr Roman Hristov. A review of the circumstances in which the heads of the discovery was confirmed in the sepulcher no later than 1510 - a decade before the Spanish arrived in Meso-America. Basically, the head was removed from the site by professionals, said David Kelley, an archaeologist at the University of Calgary, Alberta () Professor Emeritus of Canada. "This was sealed on three floors, is as close to archaeological certainty can be achieved." (Emphasis and NB) Archaeologist David Grove, the University of Illinois, agreed that the head-Roman, but he stressed that there is evidence of Roman influence pre-Columbian cultures. He suggested that the head would have been washed ashore from a Roman shipwreck in the Gulf of Mexico. However, there seems to be denying that Roman sailors had American waters. "Ancient Mesoamerica, V.10, p.207; Schottenring, Guardian, D. E-Mail, February 10, New Scientist, February 12, 2000. "McManamin Mark, a professor of geography and geology at Mount Holyoke College, Massachusetts, is convinced that the Carthaginians discovered America 350 to 320 BC. In a recent edition of 'The Numismatic' magazine and at a meeting of the American Friends of Tunisia in May 1999, he interpreted a series of puzzling gold coins of that period as depictions of the known world, including the area west of Spain. Experts in the field of ancient trade routes believe that the Carthaginians almost certainly reached the coast of Brazil, where Punic amphorae (with olive oil and wine) has been found, and Punic coins of the 4th Century BC, were excavated at seven sites in the easte United States, unfortunately not in our source ( 'Jeune Afrique ", Paris, 7, 1 September 1999). According to Chinese news agency Xinhua last August, the similarities between nearly 300 markings on pottery, jade and stone unspecified ancient native sites in Central America are similar to 3000 years Shang dynasty characters for the sun, sky, rain, water, plants, trees and stars marked bones or tortoise shells, known as Jiaguwen. American and Chinese pictographs in 56 matching shows, senior scientist at a symposium in Anyang, former capital of the Shang dynasty. These impressive similarities add fuel to theories that Chinese arrived in America before the end of the Shang dynasty in 221 BC. Shang legends was a king who led his people on a jouey to the East, although some scientists believe it is in the Strait of Bering to North America. The Chinese classic, the 'Shan Hai King' of about 2250 BC, seems to be an accurate description of the Grand Canyon. (There are articles describing a large complex found dug into the walls of the Grand Canyon at a significant level, from where the river flows now. Images of a statue of Buddha, because it is a lotus god from Egypt are in this article . The U.S. govement is off limits after the Smithsonian and was a review of an earlier report from credible people report at the beginning of the 20th century. The orthodox view is that neither of the two plants native America before their export by European colonists in the 16th Century AD. In 499 AD, a Chinese Buddhist monaco, Hui Shen, again in China claim to have spent 40 years in the land of Fu Sang. He has a record of the country, visited, was in the official history - a land thought by some mode scholars of ancient Mexico. Then there is the 3000-year-old pottery found on Valdivian coast of Ecuador, decorated and incised in exactly the same way as ceramic Jomon area of Japan (We touched on the Canadian Museum of Civilization and a lie to say there was evidence in above the local industry.), and is not afraid plainer and simpler to Ecuador bowls and us, "National Post (Toronto), 27 August; D. LCD-TV s The future standard in Home Theater

LCD-TV s The future standard in Home Theater LCD televisions are incredible, space-saving devices. LCD is very thin, flat screens that are in a stand-alone or on any of your family or entertainment room. In the case of the latter is based on an LCD TV on a wall to provide consumers with additional space in the room where the television is much more room for fuiture and home decoration. In addition, many LCD TVs can also tilt and direction of the pin, so that the viewer easily adjust the screen to their preferences. LCD (Liquid Crystal Display), usually three different projectors, LCD glass, one for each red, green and blue signal is fed into the projector. As the light passes through the LCD panels, individual pixels ( "picture elements") may be open to the light to pass or closed to block the light, as if each little pixel were fitted with a Venetian blind. This activity modulates the light and creates the image that appears on the screen. LCD has a number of advantages over plasma TVs, and standard TVs. These advantages relate to its cost effectiveness, its ability to save space, its image and production capacity. In fact, in future, the market is likely that an increase in sales of LCD display, which on the sales of plasma TVs and standard (SDTV) include an increase in sales of LCD monitors will be directly in parallel with the rise of technology. One advantage of LCD is that, historically, a better saturation of color that you expect from a DLP projector. This is primarily because in most single-chip DLP projectors, a clear (white) panel is in the color wheel red, green and blue, the brightest, or total luminous flux. Even if the picture is brighter otherwise be, this tendency to reduce the saturation of color, the DLP picture appear not quite rich and vibrant. Some of the Home Theater DLP-based products today are six segment color wheels that eliminate the white component. This contributes to a better representation of the color. And even some of the newer high contrast DLP units that a white segment in the wheel, better color saturation than before. Overall, however, the best LCD projectors still a significant performance advantage in this area. LCD is more energy efficient as well. LCD projectors usually significantly higher ANSI lumen outputs of DLPs with the same power of the lamp. In recent years, DLP machines have become lighter and smaller - and there are now DLP projectors rated at 2500 ANSI lumens, a relatively recent development. However, LCD competes extremely high and when the light - output is not necessary. All the portable light cannons under 20 lbs that from 3500 to 5000 ANSI lumens are LCD projectors. LCD is more cost-effective, this does not mean that they are less expensive than other brands of TV, but are, however, that saves money in the long term. Due to the fact that LCD monitors require less electricity to operate, long-term savings of electricity can really agree. The reason that LCD TVs are inexpensive because they do not need fluorescent lamps to work, and their flat shape produces less heat. Thus, if consumers are looking for a TV that can save their money on monthly energy costs, then LCD TV is definitely the way to go. LCD TVs are praised for their ability to provide a strong, clear images. In fact, the crystal-clear images of the LCD monitor can be attributed to the fact that their screens are literally made of crystals. Each crystal or obstruct or allow light through, and as the lights produce the images seen by viewers on the screen. Also, since LCD screens are flat, it is very unlikely that the glare from other light in the room will be a problem. Directly related to the clarity of images, is the fact that LCDs produce sharper images and consumers experience a lot fewer cases of eye fatigue occurs. Many consumers have the television for several hours at a time, clearer images and less glare from the LCD screen can be very helpful in alleviating the fatigue of the eyes. Finally, for those people who are environmentally - conscious, LCDs offer less emission of radiation, and a lower frequency of the emission of electromagnetic field. Electronic magnetic fields have been scientifically confirmed, with a range of health risks including cancer.

Guide to purchase a digital camera

Guide to purchase a digital camera The digital camera market today offers buyers a large number of choices, with a wide variety of products in price ranges, sizes and degree of operational complexity. Miniatures from the size of a credit card, fully functional professional SLR (Single Lens Reflex) systems, you can use a digital camera from manufacturers including traditional camera brands such as Canon, Pentax, Nikon, film companies like Kodak and Fuji and Electronics Consumer companies like Sony. Then there are other options that the manufacturers of mobile phones, webcams and suppliers. The advantages of digital photography are numerous. Supreme is the fact that there is no film processing: expensive in terms of cost and time. But there is also the advantage of small portable media devices and instant image is displayed. And if you do not like what you see, you simply delete it and shoot it again: do not waste. If you want to take pictures, a digital photographer makes much sense. But the camera is the best for you? In a field of more than abundance, as you reduce what you need? How to pay? How many megapixels? (What's this all about?) What brand? How much memory? Every buyer is different. The MyShopping.com.au we recognize this fact, and so we have almost all brands and models from hundreds of suppliers. These lists contain the cold facts of each digital camera data and a series of comparative prices of different suppliers. But like any buyer is different, every photographer is different too. And only with the facts you can lea more about the camera is right for you. You can start with the question: What kind of images that will provide you with the new digital camera? This is a valid, because from here you can begin to meet your needs in terms of technical capabilities and price. What kind of images you are with the new camera DIGITA l? And 'just for fun snaps, where together with friends and family on weekends and holidays? Or you are a serious Bird Watcher, and you want the best of their kind? Perhaps you want a camera for work, your inventory, or collection of information from a client. Perhaps you are a PI on a mission. The point is, you must first recognize that you are buying a digital camera may not be the same as those of your best friend, recommended that the model bought. Having discovered that the images you take, you can then make decisions about what kind of camera, your needs. If you have something very portable that fits in your shirt pocket or your handbag and you can use it anywhere, that a big test. If you want to take seriously a good picture, and you want an artistic creation, the image flexibility main conce. It may also be helpful to their position in the digital photography experience. Are you a beginner to buy your first camera, you have some experience of intermediate objectives, or are an experienced user? Who's new to the market probably does not want to spend a lot of money, still a lot of amazing features that can be confusing. There are cameras ideal for beginners, the basic 'point and shoot' features including optical and digital zoom, flexible storage in Flash. There is a wide range of cameras with simple features at a low price. If you're an intermediate user with some working knowledge of digital camera technology that allows you to explore more advanced features that give you greater control over the images you take. These functions are usually in a range of settings for the automatic and manual settings for recording and the image of the different ways in terms of resolution and image type (RAW, JPEG, TIFF). Of course there are some costs, if the additional functions than a basic camera. For advanced users, there are a multitude of career options that you can consider how to find objective Reflex sight and ability to trade. Cameras in this area have more control over the image before and, if caught. These options, including speed and aperture adjustment, and many cameras offer the ability to manipulate images to "closed", such as cropping, brightness and contrast adjustments. After the image is another major conce is what to do with the images if you have them? The beauty of digital photography is the simple fact that you can use on digital media such as CDs and media cards, and put them on computer screens, and in many cases, the TV. You need to print and only when those who want to see, or any other show. Digital photography offers fantastic opportunities to manipulate images using popular image manipulation, resize, change brightness and contrast properties and problems, such as red-eye correction, or removal of skin blemishes. L Most digital cameras, computers, able to connect directly to your PC or Mac with USB ports. Usually include proprietary software allows you to easily and instantly manage your image files into albums or slideshows. Many digital cameras, a video capture facility allows you to record movies. What you want with your pictures when you can have an influence on the choice of camera. To ensure that the enlarged prints for example, you want a high megapixel capacity (also referred to as the "resolution"). If you want your images to the site, you want to get the best images can be reduced, which in resolution without severe degradation. Beauty is in the "I" Large images are usually of big words. It is a great time to catch the light is right, the subject is in perfect distance, the image is perfectly framed. But not every digital camera offers the flexibility to provide the best available light, gender or social status. Most digital cameras (of course on the budget end) come with an automatic flash system, which is very happy for shots in darkened environments. And the automatic flash automatically does not "go away", in sunny conditions. But in these times when you want to use the existing light, you must have a camera giving manual control on the operation or not, the flash. In addition, most digital cameras at low and medium price segment is highly automated. If you upgrade from a traditional film SLR camera, so you have maximum control over speed, the speed of opening and ISO can be frustrating, do not have easy access to the same set of instruments for the benefit of existing light conditions . In more developed (and therefore more expensive) range of digital cameras, several lenses and aperture functions are available in exactly the same way as other SLR systems. What is different as the colors and the light of 'image pixel capture compared to chemical systems. You can use a wide range of options focusing. L Most digital cameras have two different types of image magnification, lens magnification (zoom), a 35 mm equivalent to 150 mm zoom lens and a digital up to ten times (such as x10). This gives you the ability to zoom, can be limited in their depth of field and is the subject of motion blur and effects, when the conditions are not just right, and a digital magnification of the pixel image. If you can not enlarge the images of distance is important for you, you need more megapixels and a lens system that gives you some control over its focus and aperture management. A final word on the accessories Type cameras are electronic devices. This means they run on batteries, and if your camera a lot, you will see that there are often used instead of batteries. Some cameras have rechargeable batteries, while others are simply dry cells (AA), the course, you can load with rechargeable are. It is worthwhile to have spare batteries so that you always pay a power source. Some cameras have docking station for connection to the computer. Many digital SLR cameras have interchangeable lens systems, some of them with the traditional film SLR. You can also add your own photos at home with printers that use standard photographic paper, and connect directly to the camera. Although there may be less expensive camera card or CD to a local camera store, and now many supermarkets and department stores, and use automatic printing machine to print the images you want. There is a lot is possible with a digital camera, and you can pay less than $ 200, or more than $ 10,000. It all depends on how you can see as a photographer, who shoots, and what you want with your pictures. The Myshopping.com.au you can very quickly compare specifications and prices.

The cable is capable

The cable is capable Cable ... No, not the TV, the cable structure, through the construction. During the structured wiring, it may not seem as exciting as a discussion on your favorite show on cable TV, a cabling solution that you need a new or retro-fit buildings is the most important decision you can make when it comes go to your network design. Note that most servers and desktops last on average three to five years. The cabling system to last, if designed and installed. There are several components that, as a decision maker must be aware. There are partnerships in the cable that works to their advantage. Connectivity between the cable and equipment manufacturers (patch panels, connectors, etc.) These partnerships maximize the end-to-end network cabling faults by examining factors, bandwidth, and more. The following list is not all inclusive, but gives a good sense of partnership today: * Panduit / General Cable * Systimax / CommScope Ortonics * / * Berktek Siemens / Siemens (they started to sell its cable), because it is so important ? Many of these partnerships offer extended warranties (15 + years) for the cable (eg-Berktek) and connector devices (eg, Ortronics) used for the installation. The criteria for the guarantee to other factors, such as assembly operations, the product must be certified by the manufacturer of the solution. Be careful when reviewing the proposals from suppliers. If these criteria are not met, the promised 15 + year warranty will be void. Many people are tired of hearing about the differences between CAT5, CAT5, CAT6 and CAT7 now. However, these categories and other industry standards, the wiring for the final performance of the network. CAT5 is usually on the phone - connections, rather than the previous CAT3 cable. CAT5 is still widely used for data applications at the moment, but CAT6 is becoming increasingly widespread. More bandwidth has mandated a new standard. Ten years ago we were talking about a company would have 10 MB or 100 MB network. Now the question is, have a 100 MB or 1 GB of network? CAT6 is more strict with twine and increases the separation of couples, which reduces interference between the cable and increases the amount of data that can be achieved through the cables. Make sure not to install CAT6 cables in the wall and think that 1GB is the network function at full capacity. The jacks, patch panels, patch cords, switches, and NIC (Network Interface Card) is also compatible 1GB for 1GB of capacity. If at the beginning of a new construction project or in a substantial transformation, CAT6 installation for voice and data locality to prepare for the future. The difference is usually between 25-30% for the material, while work remains almost the same thing. It 'still a lot less expensive cables for the future in the early stages not to go back and do it again. If you optimize your budget is not buying 1GB switches, NICs and patch cables, because the components are easy to change as growth. If the additional costs for the proper cable seems frivolous, which compares the cost of the components of your voice and data network (IP - mobile, server, desktop devices, software). E 'cable costs seem a drop in the ocean. Not to muddy the waters, but now the latest talk of the town (even if it is a bit 'of time) is CAT7 - 10Gigabit or cable? It never ends. But there is good news. This cable is not ideal, as far as the desktop of the cables in most cases, at this time. These requests are for CAT7 calculation, data devices pushing very high bandwidth, such as full medical records, etc. If the maximum number of 300 m is not a factor, CAT7 could also be a less expensive option to connect the fiber to remote data closets in a building. Anybody home? Each cable in a plenum or non-Plenum (PVC) variety. In case of fire, plenum cable is slow to bu and produces less smoke than traditional PVC cables. E 'does not mean that the cable does not bu - which simply means that when it bus it bus clean. All cables above are available in these varieties, and it is important to install the correct cable. Many new buildings are required to plenum cables are installed with the building drop ceiling structure for a cold air retu vent instead for this purpose. Residence training in order to avoid undue effects of non-compliance. An architect / engineer may be a good source of this information. Finally, the NEC (National Electric Code) requires that any unused (abandoned) of the cable to be removed, a building. The main reason is that the old copper cable has no value, but it can cause a fire. Many people do not think this problem when you enter into a new cable system. Be sure that you have on the local codes to ensure the respect that your company with the policy in your town. If the code does not exist in your city or state, the NEC is to be accepted. You want your building does not build without a solid foundation. Enter the same attention to the foundation - the structured cabling system. Not only for the most economical solution, probably cost more money in the re-cord of the same type of network performance or poor resolution of the problems. Ensure that research and the type of cable needed for the environment in which it is installed. Finally, industry professionals will help you in your decision making.

LASIK Eye Surgery and benefits of the procedure

LASIK Eye Surgery and benefits of the procedure LASIK (laser assisted in situ keratomileusis) is a common type of surgery that many in view of their dependence on glasses and contact lenses. LASIK is a refractive surgery procedure is that a regular, often used to treat myopia. Its popularity is due to the improvement of vision, with no major side effects, while other methods may eye surgery. The eye is one of the most sensitive areas of the body, could be a little 'surprising to lea that the LASIK procedure is relatively simple. In fact, it is not uncommon for patients after the procedure to work again the following day. The eye is first washed with a solution for the deaf. The next step is to open the eyelids with parentheses. This will prevent flashing. After the solution actually starts, the surgeon will make a cut in the coea. Once enough tissue is removed with the laser, the surgeon can then close when the cut is made and the procedure is finished. The advantages of LASIK eye surgery is for all to see (excuse the pun!). Thousands of people have the procedure, but also for some of the fears of further surgery in the eyes can not clearly state the benefits, which are mainly two fold: 1) The ability to live without the need for glasses or contact lenses. 2) An increase in the quality of vision. The cost of LASIK eye surgery performed may vary. The price depends on factors such as equipment for surgery and tests carried out before the procedure. You may find that the various providers of different levels of testing, to ensure that research in the different providers and find out what is included in the price. Of course you can not set a price for your vision, but certainly not bad, the discovery provides the necessary functions in the price. One of the points that must be considered when a surgeon, the experience with the procedure. Not only for the most convenient because they are not necessarily the best.

iPod Nano Halo Effect

iPod Nano Halo Effect Apple has an excellent reputation with its line of iPod MP3 players. All players must be with the best quality of music playback, the amount of music storage, design, usability, and these all together in one accessible, attractive package. Each of the new iPod have something new and fascinating for the table, with the same degree of quality, style, usability and price. Needless to say that the iPod Nano is to continue the legacy of the iPod, and it is to maintain the reputation that Apple has with its line of products for the iPod. iPod is what he calls a "halo effect", which means that its line of iPod is so popular and respected that stems from too many. ITunes has been such a feature, you managed to update the iPod products. iTunes has become a very popular choice for downloading music for users of iPods and other MP3 players. The iPod is basically launched the iTunes method of downloading music and iTunes is very popular and successful. The iPod Nano has that effect from the power of innovation and quality that is unique. Apple is also using his iPod Nano to try to make users more and more customers through their elegant, avant-garde design and technology and the simple fact that it is so small and easy to carry anywhere. Those who do not want to or around the relatively large iPod Shuffle or iPod featureless hours are the perfect mix of the iPod Nano. The iPod is the way the world listens to music, and as long as Apple continues to make high quality products like the iPod Nano, it seems as if the iPod is the first competitors in MP3 market in the coming years.

How did you get interested in studying the Moon

How did you get interested in studying the Moon Like many children, my parents gave me a 60 mm telescope for Christmas one year. The scope is a typical department store brand - not very good - but at a 12-year-old opened the universe.Through see the moons of Jupiter, the phases of Venus and the rings of Satu. But above all, open your eyes, there was the moon. There in the eyepiece was steep mountains - needles long shadows from the crater lowlands, dark maria and (painfully) bright highlands, a surface excavation craters of all sizes, some with bright rays and expelled some type characteristics Squiggle fun. Soon leaed that the greater amount of detail to be noted along the terminator, the line dividing dark from light, the shadows that play in them the characteristics that presents a sharp contrast. And for all this, every night different characteristics can be seen in detail. They say that when you get older, the memory plays tricks on you - you remember the good things bad. I remember many clear, cold winter nights when I could point my scope at the moon and scan the disk for some feature I had not seen before in relief. These days, the sky appears to be much more obscure and often freezing winter nights are very rare. I imagine that the global warming for you! The passage of time and I moved in and out of positions in the Committee of astronomy societies, editing some magazines on the road (now my ezine, called photons, and every two months). More information about astronomy became bureaucracy managing clubs to look through a telescope. Then in late'90s, eager to retu to my astronomical "roots", I bought a "real" telescope, an 8 "reflector that is easily switched to the moon. Stunning views assaulted my eyes, once again (remember to ask the Halcyon nights and 12 years of research through my old 60 mm scale). I am a writer of software (or "engineer"?) By profession, so I wrote some software to help me in my planning moon observations. told me that when the moon and an increase, which is the stage to another. When people saw that they said they wanted a copy, I polished and released as Shareware under the title LunarPhase. E 'has a broader application called Pro LunarPhase. I am pleased that he has received great reviews - I feel like I did something to make other people aware of my old friend, for the progress of sky. With light pollution throughout the world, pristine skies of my youth were disappearing behind the yellow-orange glow of street lights more and more. Where once stars twinkling on a velvet background, a few meters resistant light gaet hours through fog and mist glow neon background. But the moon is always there, outshining any murk and pollution in the cough sky.It 's a pity that the sky did not deal with the same respect we give to our national parks. After all, the sky belongs to us all. How many of us really appreciate people throwing garbage in our yard. Why should we allow others to pollute our natural resources? In these days, are on the moon photography with digital cameras and more sophisticated CCD cameras. I posted a couple of my photos on my website if you want to view. One more night under the stars with a partially illuminated moon high in the sky, an exercise in humility and relax. The Moon is the only object in the solar system where you can see the real surface detail. I feel so passionate for what he has also written a book called The Observer Moon.Growing Apollo during the period, I must say that the missions played a large part to encourage my interest in the moon. My interest is alive and well and stretches in other directions (and not later). I hope that yours is too.Onward and upward, as they say! Gary Nugent has spent more years that she cares to remember pursue astronomy as a hobby. Has performed a number of sites on the basis of astronomy: Observing the night sky: This month the Moon: The Moon-El - Month.htm LunarPhase Pro: "Photon" ezine astronomy:

Characteristics of a scanning tunnel microscope

Characteristics of a scanning tunnel microscope The scanning tunnel microscope (STM), invented by Gerd Binnig and Heinrich Rohrer in 1980 manages to do a great job and now competes with the most advanced in the microscope. The scanning tunnel microscope is used for the study of surface atoms that are in different materials. The device is based on a complex process of "tunneling" of electrons between the material and the tip of a probe. The probe is strong and very small and allows a great precision. However, in order to achieve the best results, the distance between the tip and the material has been studied a precise calculation. As the tip moves over the surface of the material, a constant flow of electrons must be maintained in order to obtain accurate readings. After the scanning tunneling microscope does its work, the researcher must strike a map of the surface of the material. Classified as a tool for scanning microscopy probe, STM was actually a better version of the atomic force microscope. The scanning tunnel microscope brings greater accuracy and better separation of individual atoms, researchers with high-resolution images. Since the dimension in which the testing can be done is very small (about 0.2 nm), scanning tunnel microscope offers great versatility of use. In making the most of high-resolution images, researchers can manipulate individual atoms on the surface of the material. This allows the precise chemical and physical reactions to be performed, as well as the manipulation of electrons. So how does the work of a scanning tunnel microscope? STM working under the guidelines is in quantum mechanics, where the flow of electrons between the surface of the material studied and the probe is the essence of this experience. The effect of quantum mechanics is the gallery of electrons, which is, in other words, a transfer of electrons between the surface and the tip of the probe. The move by hopping electrons and the movement back and forth creates a weak electric current (which occurs only if the surface is considered a driver). Precise measurements of the distance between the probe and the surface is obtained using converse piezoelectricity. There are many fields of study in which a scanning tunnel microscope can be very good. Researchers use it to gain a better understanding of the mechanisms of conductivity are different molecules. Because it allows the high precision and the manipulation of individual atoms, the scanning tunnel microscope is often used in laboratories dealing with nanotechnology. Other applications include the use of STM investigation and structural analysis of the surface conductivity of different materials. Manufacturers of electronic devices using a scanning tunnel microscope as a tool for checking the surface to improve the conductivity and size of electronic devices, and there are many other areas where precision makes the STM.
