How to use a thermometer
How to use a thermometer A thermometer is an instrument that is the temperature. Depending on the country where you live, the temperature is measured in a plane called Fahrenheit or Celsius (sometimes called Centigrade). There are thermometers for food, people, and time. You can even own a thermometer, it's easy. Here's what you need: - Water (Plain Old tap water is good for this experiment.) - Rubbing alcohol - 1 plastic bottle with a narrow neck - food coloring in your choice of color - from plastic drinking straw - plasticine. Pour in equal parts of water and alcohol and a few drops of food coloring in the bottle (the liquid should only fill about a quarter of a bottle.) And give it a shake to mix. Drop the straw into the bottle (which should touch the ground) and plug the opening with the clay. That's all. Now is the time to make sure your thermometer works. What happens when you bring in direct sunlight and the liquid becomes warmer? If your thermometer works, the color liquid rises through the straw. In fact, if the liquid to be extremely hot, the liquid would be very likely from the tip of the straw. Bring with you your thermometer, as the color of the water does not react in the hay? E 'up or down? Run under hot water and cold, the colored water react. Of course, this is not an accurate measurement of water - the temperature, and there is no way to tell how hot or cold is actually water, but this should give you an idea of how a thermometer. A thermometer is a great rainy day craft for children. It's easy, fast and in most cases, the position near the house. Why not make your next project?
